Tour da' Park Registration
The 12th
anniversary Tour da’ Park 5K Walk / Run / Roll / Picnic
(“The Hottest Race of the Year”) – will be held on
Wednesday, July 16, 2008. The event is part of the Lignite Energy
Council’s Summer Celebration events and the proceeds will go to United
Way.

Regional electric utilities
have undertaken voluntary steps and invested in research to reduce mercury
emissions. A summary and five fact sheets tell how these utilities are
working together with prominent researchers to discover efficient and
cost-effective methods to control mercury releases.

Partners for Affordable Energy
has produced five fact sheets about carbon dioxide and voluntary actions
that utilities in our region are undertaking to reduce carbon emissions
and lower the carbon intensity of our economy.
